2009 OVATION Award NOMINATIONS
Nominations collected January 1-12, 2010 (at midnight)

NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU TO THE OVER 100 ARTISTIC LEADERS WHO WERE PART OF THE NOMINATION PROCESS. Nominees will be announced January 14th.

If you were a director, music director, choreographer or composer of a musical in the lower mainland in 2008, you are welcome to nominate up to three individuals/productions in each of the award categories.

Those with the most nominations in each category will make up the final nominations to be announced on January 14th, which the general public will then vote on from January 15-26 (at midnight). Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony January 31. 

Each nomination form must include your full name, the name of the production you worked on, your phone number, and email address. All information collected is strictly confidential and is used for the sole use of the 2008 Ovation Awards.

Tallying of the nominations and then the general voting is done electronically and is overseen by the board of directors of APPLAUSE! Musicals Society. Individuals involved in the tallying are not eligible for awards.

There are three awards that are not based on a "popularity vote" which are the 2009 Outstanding Contribution, Major Contribution and Newcomer Awards. Your nominations for these awards are welcome with the final choices being decided by the Board of Directors of APPLAUSE! Musicals Society.

When voting for an individual please include the person’s full name, and the name of the production for which they were involved with. Example: "Jonathan Smith, Camelot".

An individual may not vote for themselves but they may vote for a production they participated with. If you worked on more than one production in the last year, you may only submit one nomination form.
