- "Artistic Leaders" Nomination Collection - January 1 - 12 (midnight)
- Nominees Announced - Thursday January 14 following the APPLAUSE! AGM
- General Public Voting - January 15-26 (midnight)
- Winners Announced - Public Awards Ceremony, Sunday January 31
Specific awards include outstanding new work, production, performance, direction, music direction, choreography, design, and newcomer. Special awards are also given for “significant contribution in 2009" as well as an award for “major contribution” awarded to a company or member of the community who has contributed a minimum of 10 years to the development, promotion and continuation of musical theatre in the lower mainland.
Vancouver Academy of Music (1270 Chestnut Street)
Reception 6PM followed by a two hour revue including performances from various productions and special guest presenters for each of the awards to follow at 7PM.
Tickets are $20 in advance. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event for $25.
